Ayitah is derived from the luganda word ayiita which means she/he is calling or to beckon someone.
Ayitah Charity Foundation is a registered non-profit organization that was established in 2017 by Sophia Nyanzi and a group of friends. It was started as a channel for the founders and other interested parties to make positive impact in the lives of vulnerable groups like orphans, persons with disabilities, unemployed youth and women.
Ayitah Charity Foundation provides financial assistance enabling orphans in Kampala to access quality education and build a brighter future.
Our clean water initiative now provides safe drinking water to over 1,000 community members across rural Uganda.
