Your support can change this. Through Ayitah Charity’s Water Tank Appeal, we aim to install water tanks in underserved areas to collect and store clean rainwater. These tanks provide a sustainable, nearby source of safe water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning.
In rural Uganda, thousands of families still lack access to clean water. Women and children walk miles daily just to collect unsafe water, putting their health at constant risk. At Ayitah Charity, we believe no one should suffer for something as basic as clean drinking water.
Our Water Tank Appeal is a lifeline. By installing water tanks in the most affected villages, we are bringing safe, accessible water closer to homes, reducing disease, restoring dignity, and freeing up time for children to go to school.
Help us build a future where no child sleeps thirsty.
In Uganda, nearly 70% of people rely on farming to earn a living. However, ongoing droughts put their livelihoods at serious risk, making it difficult to grow food and support their families.
By donating a Water Tank, you can help provide clean water for drinking and farming. This reduces the spread of disease and allows farmers to grow crops throughout the year, even during dry seasons.
Each tank is made of durable concrete, holds up to 5,000 litres of water, and is raised off the ground to prevent contamination. Communities are also trained to maintain the tanks, giving them a lasting source of clean water and food security.
Ayitah Charity Foundation is working to change that by installing safe and sustainable water tanks in the most affected communities. These tanks collect and store rainwater, providing families with clean water right where they live. Together, we can save lives, restore dignity, and give children a healthier future one water tank at a time.
